Opening and closing branding

SVT must be identifiable as owner/endorser in all commissioned content, regardless of on which platform it is viewed. To ensure this, the SVT logotype is to be clearly visible in the opening and closing of each program or episode. The visual style should reflect that of the individual program, with SVT being the endorser.

Opening

SVT’s logotype is to appear in the opening of all programming produced by SVT, as well as in all production commissioned exclusively by SVT. Programs with "SVT" in the title are excepted.

  • The logotype is always consistently placed in the lower center of the screen
  • The logotype has a built-in animation that eases it in and out. No other motion may be applied to the logotype
  • The logotype is to be shown for the full duration of its animation (3.8 seconds)
  • No shading or any other visual effect may be applied to the logotype
  • As a general rule the logotype is white. A black logotype may be used where the brightness of the background demands it

Co-branding with other companies

When the logotypes of other production companies are present, also consider the following:

  • The SVT logotype is to be placed on the same background as the external company’s with the text "producerat för SVT", as shown below
  • The production company’s soundbite may not be used
  • The production company’s logotype may occupy no more than 10 percent of the screen, including white space
